If you want to bake this cake as eggless, dont forget to substitute eggs with either silken tofu, grounded flax seed meal or else simply with yogurt or curd. Not to forget that even thick dates puree also works awesome to replace the eggs in this cake. Recently hubby got a box of Algerian dates from his collegues who carried all the way from Algeria, those dates are seriously fabulous with mild sweetness with chewy texture. After having few, i seriously want to bake a cake or cookies with. And finally i ended up by baking this tray style cake for our evening snacks. And this Date chocolate chunks tray cake goes for this month’s A-Z Recipe Challenge with the Alphabet ‘D’.
